Why reading self-help books doesn’t make you take action (Why)

self-development ‣哲学:philosophy

We often see the term “self-development” in business books.

However, many people may be familiar with the term “self-help,” but may not understand it well.

The self in self-development is “you, yourself.

And self-help enlightenment is “teaching and showing where people are unaware, leading them to higher awareness and understanding.” It is.

So I interpret self-development as “leading oneself to a higher awareness and understanding of oneself.

But if you want to do self-development, in my opinion, you first have to “know yourself” to do it.

If there are various negative thoughts (such as mental scars) between the person you think you are in your manifest consciousness and your true self in your subconscious, then I think it is impossible to lead yourself.

Negative thoughts are anxious and fearful in emotion.

So even if you try to do something with your manifest consciousness, you will always be interrupted by a bad reminder of this or that to move forward.

So no matter how many self-help books you read or how many self-help seminars you go to, I think it’s safe to say that the reason you can’t actually take action, even though you understand it in your head, is that negative thoughts are a major obstacle.

So I think the first step is to ask yourself if you are unable to act when you are thinking of moving forward on something, and let yourself find the cause of your inability to act and the cause of your anxiety and fear.
